So This is 7.................

Delaney's 8th grade buddy at school got her a stuffed animal and this card for her birthday that says "I HOPE YOU GET THE DOG THAT YOU'VE WANTED"............
I just had to laugh as I sent it to everyone who knows how funny this is!
#nevergoingtohappen
She is a "Spring Break" birthday so I wasn't sure if many classmates would be able to come to her party...
I was never able to get a group photo but I just know one day when these kids are older this picture will be so much fun to look back on....all but two of the girls in her class and ONE boy! I keep saying he's the boy all of our girls are going to be fighting over in high school! He was such a good sport for coming and hanging out with all the girls. Delaney's party was at Kid City at the Greenwood Community Center also known as NOT IN OUR HOUSE!
Chick-fil-a and a cookie cake and these kids were set.
Then it was home for party #2 (same theme)

Of significance: Things I Love (family, friends, teachers, MAVERICK---our dog)
Bless her heart she probably thinks we are watching her open her gifts
(she's a March Madness birthday)
"Santa" bought her too much stuff for Christmas so when her birthday rolled around, Santa had already shopped.

 Delaney's new cousins Owen
and Silas were less than thrilled to be at a Beauty and the Beast birthday party
She's obsessed with babies (real and pretend) right now
Love, Love, Love the grey stuff!
It was unseasonably warm on Delaney's birthday party day and the house was full of people so I turned on the a/c UNTIL IT WENT OUT! The water heater went out the night before (not even kidding). Delaney was less than thrilled to get a water heater for her birthday :-)
We welcomed our next door neighbor back into the neighborhood by showing up on her door asking if we could use her shower..........
New a/c and furnace coming soon! #whenitrainsitpours

This picture was taken on Delaney's actual birthday (new clothes, cowgirl boots, gladiator shoes, sunglasses, bathing suit cover up). It's hard to tell she is crying here but when she read my card she cried #shegotitfromherdaddy #crybaby #sheissosweet
I have no words for my child....
Like I said, so this is 7
 My new favorite picture..........
On her actual birthday, one of the 2nd grade teachers at school text her (via my phone before you go and think my 7 year old has a phone---she would get a dog before a phone) Happy Birthday and Delaney proceeded to send her a ton of pictures from the night before. I laughed and told her at 7 years old, I would never have been texting one of my teachers!
