"Tomorrow is always a better day"

Delaney had an "off" day today (meaning she was in trouble for most of it) so when I put her in bed, I said "let's have a better day tomorrow". Then she told me "tomorrow is always a better day"....now let's just hope that includes for the Colts too!

This girl is so wise and gives the best advice at the precise moment I need it. Even when we're "off" she rocks my world! 

First Day of Fall

Delaney and I celebrated by going where else??? Target!! The only sign of Fall around our house is this pumpkin pie yogurt. I came home and added chlorine in the pool so it's far from "sweater weather" around here.....

"Delaney" can also recommend the pumpkin pie Blizzard.......and the Butterfinger if we're being completely honest!!!

I forgot my grocery list today so when I got home I looked to see what all I forgot to get. Then I saw this......apparently, I was suppose to buy a cake!

"Love Notes"

Translation "Love you mom and dad and dog and OWEN".........A new school year, a new boy. For the record, we do NOT have a dog!

Of course we WISH this was the score................Delaney was devastated the Colts lost. I told her so were we!

What I love about this one is the spelling of "too" she apparently thinks he loves her "too". How does she know how to correctly use to/too but not know how to spell "dear"............

I think this is suppose to say "blah blah blah" which she isn't allowed to say (or write) so we'll be having a little talk about this one!

A "Cool" Life

Someone told me today they thought I have a "cool" life..... I don't know about that, but I do know it's a good one!!!
