The Nordstrom Half Yearly Sale Ends This Weekend!

We did our part, now you do yours!!!! I get more excited than any person should over FREE shipping (and FREE return shipping)................although I do think it tends to promote purchasing.  But isn't that the point????

We have a very busy weekend coming up with lots of parties (graduation), a birthday party, and Delaney's dance recital pictures where make-up is "optional".  You can pretty much bet what we're "opting" for.  We are so happy Memorial Day has finally come.  We have lots of white we've been waiting to wear.  I know that it is "fashionably acceptable" to wear white before Memorial Day now but I just can't bring myself to do it.....what can I say, "my momma raised me right"!!!  Delaney has a white jean jacket she, ok maybe it's more me, can't wait to wear!

Hello Summer

We've been waiting........

All Dressed UP and No Place to go!

I could not in good conscience leave this hanging on the rack!

Delaney told me it's the cutest dress she's ever seen.  Then asked where the matching shoes and hair bows were!!!!!  I told her we can worry about those things later seeing how she has absolutely no place to wear this!

INSIST ON HAPPINESS.............

WE DO!!!!!!!!!!!

It may not be the life we "planned", but it's still a VERY GOOD life!!!

Mother's Day-Part II

We've all heard "behind every great man is a great woman". But did you also know that behind every great man are great friends?  It's true....................

I remain in very close contact with David's friends and got a text a couple of weeks ago that I had plans for this past Saturday.  I didn't bother asking what, I didn't care!!!  I just needed to know what to wear (which in hindsight, can be quite difficult when you don't know where you're going)...........

I was picked up and along with some of the other wives, we were dropped off at Bonefish for dinner.

Why did the guys do this for us???

 I think it's safe to say I hit the lottery when it comes to having AMAZING friends!!!!

First Day of School Dress???

I stole this little Hartstrings dress today for Delaney (and by "stole" I mean got it dirt cheap, I'm no criminal). Is there anything cuter than a seersucker smocked dress for your little girl???? 

If I keep "stealing" these cute little dresses for Delaney she just might have to go to Pre-K everyday! Kidding, totally kidding................
