"New Formula"

I know what you're thinking by the looks of Delaney's bib but no, she did not get kool-aid!!! We are changing her formula (due to the previously discussed constipation issues she has) and the doctor (because you know I called to get his approval first) suggested she get pedialyte to "clean her system" before she gets new formula. So, we did just that!! And as suspected, she loved it. Now, I just hope her digestive system loves this as much!!!

So far, so good!!!

"Lunch and Shopping"

Delaney got to visit a couple of her favorite stores today (after going to lunch at P.F. Changs)..... We could hardly sleep last night we were so excited to go to Janie and Jack! (Thank goodness this store is up on the north side and not the least bit close or convenient to our house).

And who can leave empty handed????

Certainly not us..................... I am teaching Delaney young to be a smart shopper. The pink sun hat has flamingos on it and matches the turqoise dress and the pink terry cloth dress (yes, I consider that "smart shopping" or what the fashion industry refers to as "mixing and matching"). We also got a new bathing suit with starfish and some white terry cloth shorts. These are all for next year!!! Come on summer of 2011!!!

And since I know you're disappointed I didn't provide a picture of Delaney that's because I didn't take one of her today! I know, how can a mother be so forgetful. I think I was just so excited to go to Janie and Jack my brain wasn't functioning at full capacity.

And in sports news, Delaney and I are getting excited about football season. We sure hope the security at Lucas Oil Stadium allow us to bring her car seat with us to the games!! Delaney's grandpa is away at camp and she sure is missing him. Come home soon grandpa!!

"A little of this and a little of that"

I think Delaney has decided she simply doesn't want to roll over (or, maybe she just gets held too much and not given much opportunity). And, since I pretty much let this little girl rule the roost, I'm perfectly fine with that! Oh and she refuses to let you take a picture of her teeth (but trust me, they're in there)....

Nope...still not ready to roll...........................

Delaney wore her jean dress grandma Terry got her for the first time (notice how wet it is from all of the drool).

And she RARELY does this (naps) so when it happens, it's picture worthy!

She also wore her watermelon outfit her grandma Cathy got her for the first time.....(don't notice the bad hair day)

And lastly, Delaney finally got to get in the pool. I decided to go against doctor's orders and let her get in....and, of course, she did great---no rashes or chemical reactions! ha ha ha

"Attention All Golfers"

4 Month Dr. Visit

Obviously, this picture did not turn out. My plan to send Delaney's tooth back to where it came from did not work. This little girl is already defying her mother! Instead of sending it back, she got another one!! I will try to get a better picture of it with my camera to post. It's also not exactly easy to photograph a teething 4 month old!! I wasn't ready for the first tooth and now there's a second...........

As you know by now, I refuse to let Delaney get multiple immunizations at one doctor visit. So, that means monthly visits to the pediatrician!! You can't get the full effect here but what I was trying to capture was Delaney "resting" her cheek on her shoulder! I left my camera at home (YES, we take it to the pediatrician appointments with us!) so I had to use my cell phone. If she looks like a big baby here that's because SHE IS!! Delaney weighed in today at 16.4 lbs!!! I didn't even pay attention to her height and head circumferance because I was stuck on the 16.4 lbs!!! When you're thighs look like this, getting a vaccination is a piece of cake....(her thighs look like I feed her cake!)...Delaney was PERFECT and barely cried.

Of course that may be due to what I like to call "the distractor"....I get Delaney's attention before she gets her shots and so far....it works!

And then, like any good mom, we went to...........

But, I can't show you what she got until next month!!!!

"Fun Filled Weekend"

Friday started with some........................ As hard as I try, I cannot wish this little girl's tooth to go away! I am clearly NOT one of those mom's who brags about her daughter's "early development". I wish it would just, well, as I said, GO AWAY!!!! I think I got more of it on her lip (hence it being "lopsided") than I did her gum.

Saturday was a fun day! We got all dressed up with some place to go! We had a party so that of course called for getting dressed up! Please disregard ALL of Delaney's rolls on her arm! She isn't the least bit concerned about them!

And then Sunday brought even more plans, we got to spend the day with friends at Sweetwater Lake.
