Kindergarten Update

Today was the first Spirit Wear day at school! This also means ice cream at lunch!

Kindergarten can best be described in two words

LONG and BORING........

A new "do"...

Right as it was time to leave for school, Delaney decided she wanted a messy bun with a braid in it.....here is my "it's time to go" attempt. To "hair people" this looks awful!! To me, it's hair show quality since I do not, never have, nor will ever be good at hair!! The ONE reason I could have been a boy mom..... 

Oh, and she meant she wanted the braid IN the messy bun........but as I mentioned, it was time to go!

Surprises

I told Delaney the other morning I would have a surprise for her when she got home from school. She said "mommy, please don't make it a new uniform"....

We had the best party....the kind where you're having so much fun you forget to take pictures and stay up reminiscing past midnight even though you know your neighbors are trying to sleep! Here's a picture the next day....

Summer is far from over at our house. But we are getting excited about Fall Break!!
