It's Almost Time.........

Life has been busy. We are getting so close to the wedding and recently attended the last of the bridal showers at one of our favorite places, Cake Bake Shop!

(I went ahead and designated this dress as my "shower dress").  We had a great time, I mean how can you not when this Caramel cake lands in front of you!!!

As you can see, it was a bad hair day for me......

Soon to be Bride and soon to be Flower Girl

I have to pinch myself when I think about the fact this precious girl is about to get married!! She possesses all of the traits you wish for your daughter. She is sweet, and kind and has found her perfect match. We all know it's not just about finding a good mate, it's also about being a good mate and we are so excited for them to begin their journey into married life!

We are all in wedding mode around here!! Shower 2 of 3 was a huge success! The bride and groom are heading to Hawaii for their honeymoon so we thought a Luau was in order! It was THE BEST time.

Delaney looked like her ridiculous self and loved her first luau! She was in charge of passing out leis as the guests arrived.

Our bar had a signature drink (the Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoosier) since the bride and groom met at IU!

Baby Wyatt got passed around like a hot potato.......

We couldn't have ordered up better weather!

After that bonfire was lit, the party went well into the night (and next day).

Uncle Mac said that Delaney is really growing up. I couldn't agree more, especially since her Christmas list consists of Uggs, an Ipod, a Polaroid camera and a Fitbit! The girl dreams big, or, has lost her mind!!!!

Two Amazing Things Happened Today!!

Delta announced NON STOP to Paris (if there's one thing I hate more than flying, it's not flying non stop---I mean that's more take offs and landings :-) It's just over 8 hours which kind of stinks but it's got to be worth it.

And on a much smaller scale..............somehow I managed to leave it right there on the shelf. I hope I have that will power next time!
